I'm an ongoing (3-year) lung cancer survivor, trying to kick cancer in the ass. 59 years of age, and continually trying to dodge a recurrence. I had six months of chemotherapy, and the bottom lobe of my right lung was removed. According to the American Lung Association, 6-out-of-10 lung cancer patients don't survive two years after diagnosis. The remaining 4-out-of-10 will have a 50% chance for a recurrence by the 5-year mark. I'm not into organized religion, but a believer in the spirituality of the universe. Was always a non-smoker, but in my youth I was a heavy dabbler in pot. If you smoke grass, don't delude yourself: there's twice the amount of benzene in burning pot than in the same amount of burning tobacco. So, if you love life... DON'T SMOKE, period. Give your lungs a break. They were designed to inhale OXYGEN only.
